Dr. Ian Cheng has been practicing dentistry since 1999 and established Beach Plaza Dental almost 20 years ago. Dr. Cheng is a California native and currently resides in Orange County with his wife and children.

Dr. Cheng obtained his Bachelor of Science at University of California Irvine and his Doctorate at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He completed a Post Doctoral Residency Fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital and received his Certificate in Advanced General Dentistry at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. He continues to advance his skills and knowledge through continuing education.

Dr. Cheng desires to build personal relationships with each patient to create trust and a positive experience at each visit. Dr. Cheng prides himself on listening to each patient's needs and works with his patients to create a dental plan unique to each individual. His primary goal is to provide patients with comfort, a positive experience and quality results.

When not caring for his patients, Dr. Cheng enjoys mountain biking, photography, cooking and spending time at the beach with his family.
